The biggest benefit of using ShortPixel is a boost in website speed.
It does this by reducing image size using compression, image resize, and improved formats like WebP.

How much does ShortPixel cost?
ShortPixel has a monthly plan and a credit based plan.
Monthly plan means you pay every month and get a certain number of credits to use. Typically, 1 credit is used to optimize 1 image. Monthly plans range from $4 to $99 per month.
Credit based plan means you purchase a certain number of credits for your needs. You can keep optimizing images until you run out of credits. Credit plans range from $10 to $250 based on the number of credits you get.
There is a free plan where you get 100 credits to use per month. It is also free to optimize images using the free tool available on the ShortPixel website (max 50 images at a time).
I was lucky to find ShortPixel on AppSumo several years back. I managed to get a lifetime deal for a certain monthly plan.
